A Message To Our Community | COVID-19

To our Valued Customer,

Wesgroup Equipment is dedicated to providing the best customer service possible, and with that comes a responsibility of safety for our employees and for our customers. We are actively monitoring the evolving COVID-19/Coronavirus situation and taking steps to help keep our communities safe. We have concerns given today’s state of affairs and we wanted to share with you some steps we are taking.

Policy alignment
Our Health and Safety Team is actively monitoring the situation and adapting our business to ensure everyone’s safety. Given our low impact business, we plan to continue offering our services while monitoring updates from the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization regarding COVID-19. We will continue to seek guidance from these agencies, public health officials and government agencies on an ongoing basis.

What We Are Doing
As our employees interact with customers and the general public, we have taken steps to limit exposure to the virus. Until further notice, we have put restrictions on international travel and are postponing participation in events. Any employee that has been travelling internationally in the past 14 days has also been asked to self-isolate to ensure that any risk of infection is contained. We are also providing remote-work solutions and will continue to reinforce safe behavior in every environment. Additionally, we have protocols in place that in the case of infection, containment can be achieved quickly following recommendations by government and health agencies.

For Wesgroup employees that are customer facing, we are taking steps to protect them, and our customers from infection. As a result, our sales and service representatives will be taking extra precautions, including at times limiting their contact with customers. We are committed to ensuring that we can meet customer needs, but not at the expense of safety.

Our Commitment
The role our business plays in keeping your business operating is very important. We will continue to ensure that we offer our services as long as everyone’s health and safety can be reasonably controlled. Our ability to work in the digital environment will greatly assist in ensuring that business continues as expected. At this point in time, we do not expect any significant disruption to product inventory or the ability to run our business.

Our Request of You
We are taking precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone we work with and we ask that you do the same. Face to face interaction is unavoidable in our line of business but there are things we can all do to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Please take the steps necessary to ensure your own safety and the safety of our Wesgroup employees. This includes regular hand washing, avoiding personal contact and in the case of symptoms or exposure, self isolation and medical attention. If business can be conducted through digital means, this is the safest course of action for everyone involved.

Together we can manage through these challenging times. We are doing everything that we can to ensure regular business functionality while remaining safe. All we ask, is that you do the same.

If the situation changes, and business is affected in a negative way, we will notify you as soon as possible and do whatever we can to ensure that we can keep your equipment needs fulfilled.
