For the fourth consecutive year, Wesgroup Equipment, and our Family of Companies, joined the CIBC Run for the Cure.

Breast cancer impacts the lives of many families every day. The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is an annual event that unites Canadians with a common goal: to raise vital funds for breast cancer research and programs.

Wesgroup Equipment, and our Family of Companies, is proud to be a regional sponsor for this inspirational event. Following COVID-19 social distancing protocols, our Wesgroup Equipment, Westerra Equipment, and Williams Machinery teams joined the run virtually. From Terrace to Victoria, our people completed the 5K or 1K walk or run within their own neighborhoods across British Columbia.

This year’s run raised over $9 million* for Canadians impacted by breast cancer, continuing its title as the largest charitable funder of breast cancer research in Canada. These donations are invested into ground-breaking breast cancer research, compassionate support services, trusted cancer information, and advocacy on behalf of all Canadians.
